In general, Kerbin and it's 2 moons are amazing as it teaches you just about all the basics that will extrapolate into the wider kerbol system. The Mun however is a very reasonable goal! Minmus is a good place to get used to as well. In short, you really need to know what you're doing and have a solid mastery to attempt Eve missions with the hope of it ever being anything more than a 1 way trip. The gravity is so brutal even rovers tend to struggle to maneuver about. It's huge, got massive gravity and a viciously dangerously dense atmosphere. ![]() Most Eve surface missions tend to be 1 way for a reason. It's the most brutal and difficult planet to not just land on, but take off of as well. No shame, it's just that Eve is, by in large, considered the "final boss" of KSP.
